Funding for Deferred Maintenance on Public Lands: The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is asking for support of two
bills--one pending in each house of Congress--that would fund long
overdue maintenance of infrastructure in public lands. PATC
members are encouraged to review the bills and the ATC’s position
on them and decide whether to support them. More information on ATC site
New Member Meeting: Meetings for new members are changing to accommodate a wider
audience. The next New Member Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 7, at 4:30 p.m. at PATC headquarters in Vienna, Virginia.
