Funding for Deferred Maintenance on Public Lands: The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is asking for support of two bills--one pending in each house of Congress--that would fund long overdue maintenance of infrastructure in public lands.  PATC members are encouraged to review the bills and the ATC’s position on them and decide whether to support them. Camping Closure in Shenandoah National Park:  Portions of SNP around the Rip Rap - Wildcat Ridge area are closed to overnight use outside of shelters and established camping areas due to bear activity. Check out the details on the Park website if you will be in the area.
