Description: Thinking about winter hiking to stay in shape and enjoy some solitude when many other hikers stay home? Not sure where to go when Skyline Drive is closed and many highland trails are inaccessible? Looking for tips on how to prepare? This session will answer your questions, with slides of some favorite winter routes and suggestions on clothing and gear for a fine winter walk. This 1-hour session at your choice of REI stores is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
