By Iva Gillet

VolunteerFest is the perfect opportunity for PATC members and volunteers to celebrate their achievements, cultivate skills in volunteer areas, and connect with others.

This event is open to all PATC members and is scheduled for  Saturday, October 11th, beginning at 7 A.M. and ending with an evening  Volunteer Award Ceremony and BBQ, followed by a bonfire. And don’t forget about Happy Hour at 4 P.M.

Numerous interactive learning activities in a variety of PATC skill areas will be offered in the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains at Caroline Furnace Camp in Fort Valley, Virginia.  Check  here for our evolving activity list. Activities do not require advance sign up.

Advance registration is $25 and includes Friday and Saturday night onsite lodging plus Saturday night BBQ.  Attendees may arrive after 3 P.M. Friday and enjoy group bonfires both Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday includes one or more nearby group hikes as you leave campus.
