But these moments depend on invisible work. Without donor support—and without volunteers clearing brush, moving rocks, and repairing erosion—the trail would vanish, overgrown and unsafe. Federal agencies are stretched thin, longtime maintainers are passing the torch, and the need for new leaders has never been greater.

Every contribution supports PATC’s essential operating work—outfitting volunteers with tools and safety gear, providing certifications like sawyer training, supplying materials for erosion control and repairs, and coordinating thousands of volunteer hours.
