Description: We'll do an out and back hike of about 4 miles on the Cabin John trail, a natural surface trail. Directions: Meet up at the parking lot in front of the Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center,7801 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda, MD 20817. Be on the lookout for the right turn into the parking lot entrance after you cross Westlake Blvd heading west on Democracy Blvd. from I-270. It can easily be missed. The Locust Grove Nature Center also is located at this same parking lot but is only open on weekends. Bring water, and lunch for an optional picnic lunch at the end of the hike.
