Description: We will walk the grounds of these two adjacent Civil War battles that were fought a year apart. Meeting at the Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center, we will car shuttle to the Wilderness Battlefield Exhibit Shelter. There we’ll do a 2-mile loop to the north and a 7-mile loop to the south. Then we’ll shuttle back to the Chancellorsville Visitor Center for lunch and do a 7-mile loop around the Chancellorsville Battlefield. About 16 miles with about 1000 feet of ascent. |
