Description: Meet at the Meadowside Nature Center, 5100 Meadowside Lane, Rockville, MD 20855.
For restroom access, please arrive by 10 a.m. when we will be allowed to briefly enter the Nature Center which is undergoing remodeling. The new restrooms are ready; the Nature Center as a whole is expected to re-open to the general public sometime this spring on a yet TBD date. We will aim to be ready to circle up at 10:15 to begin our four to five-mile hike. Please refrain from hiking with us if you have not been received your COVID vaccinations. Bring your own lunch if you'd like to picnic with us at the conclusion of the hike.
Directions: From the Capital Beltway, exit #31 north on Local Route 97/Georgia Avenue for about 7.3 miles. Turn left at a light onto Norbeck Road/ Route 28, followed by a quick right turn at the next light in just two tenths of a mile, onto Muncaster Mill Road. Follow Muncaster Mill for 1.4 miles, then turn left into the park entrance road which is Meadowside Lane, and follow it straight back to the end parking lot.
