Description:

[Rescheduled from Jan. 18 due to weather]

Celebrate the recent publication of PATC's latest edition of the guide to circuit hikes in our 4-state area by exploring trails at Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental Area. The leaders, who co-authored the Soldiers Delight entry in the guide, will point out the unusual "serpentine barrens" terrain features as the group walks 5.3 miles past old mines, along streams, and among rare plants. This is under auspices of the Sierra Club. Get details and register at https://www.meetup.com/sierrapotomac/events/
