Description: 

[Leather 8”high, laced, nonskid boots are required for the class & while using a chainsaw on the Forest. This course also requires a yearly refresher to be valid].

The Lee Ranger District will offer their annual Chain Saw Training Course for GWNF volunteers. The class will be held at the Lee Ranger District Office, 102 Koontz Street, Edinburg, VA 22824. To become certified you’ll need a current First Aid and CPR certification.  You don’t need CPR/First Aid to take the training, but you will not receive your certification card until you have a valid CPR/First Aid card.
