Description:
Shenandoah National Park offers 107 miles of the Appalachian Trail and 400 miles of side trails. Some pass abandoned farms, villages, cemeteries, or moonshiners' sites. Others edge along bluffs with great vistas. Some pass by great waterfalls and streams for cooling off.  Judy McGuire, who has hiked all 500+ miles of trails in the Park, will show slides of a sample of lesser known trails in each district of the Park and explain what makes them special. This one-hour event at the LL Bean store at Tysons is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required at
