Tell the gate ranger you are doing trail work with PATC, they will let you in for free.
Facilities: Rest rooms at Tavern.
Meet at 8:45, we will leave at 09:00
I expect to be out 4-5 hours.
To Bring: Water, snacks, lunch, bug spray, work clothes, work gloves. Clippers and safety glasses if you have them. I will provide tools, paint, hard hats. Hard hats and safety glasses will be required.
Work or hiking boots. Sneakers or trail running shoes are not appropriate for trail work.
We will discuss trail work safety, then hike in and discuss trail maintenance and work to resolve some typical trail problems. This is a work and teaching trip so come prepared to clip and dig.
