Historic Map of the Stony Man Region of Shenandoah Natl Park
Here's a rare gem indeed - a "Map of the Stony Man Region showing the Skyline Drive and Man's Pursuits and Pleasures in this Region from the most Ancient Time down to the Present". Beautifully illustrated with bits of humor, history, and mountain lore from the region, this highly detailed map is a reproduction of a 1964 creation of PATC member Tom Culverwell. It includes historic trailside huts, shelters and routes that existed in the early 1960s. The map measures 18"x24" and is scaled as follows: "four miles=one mountain mile or two whoops and a holler".
