Covers a topical overview of the trail route, shelters, and water sources along the AT, as well as local towns where services and supplies are offered. Includes maps of many of the towns along the trail, with stores and other services clearly identified at their actual street locations - a nice touch for those trying to find the local post office for their next package drop.
