Accounting Assistant   Part-time – 24 to 32 hours per week
    The Accounting Assistant supports the work of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, and especially the finance department. Under the supervision of the Finance Coordinator, this individual is instrumental in assuring successful office operations for the organization. This individual coordinates vendor files, processes vouchers, enters bills, and processes checks.
     The Accounting Assistant must demonstrate an understanding of retail sales, record keeping, and maintenance of accounting files, and must have excellent interpersonal skills

Cabins Coordinator   Part-time – 25 hours per week
     The Cabins Coordinator manages a central program of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, a nonprofit outdoors and trails organization based in Vienna, Va. This individual is instrumental in ensuring the successful rental operations for 42 cabins that PATC owns or leases, and for related administrative and volunteer coordination efforts.
     The Cabins Coordinator must bring excellent interpersonal skills and innovative problem solving abilities to the job. This individual is responsible for processing reservations, compiling reports, and supporting volunteers in the office and in the field.
     The Cabins Coordinator must demonstrate an understanding of the hospitality industry and customer service, keep excellent records, and exercise good judgment.

Finance Coordinator - Full-time – 40 hours per week
     The The Finance Coordinator manages the daily operations of this department to support the work of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. Under the supervision of the Staff Director and with technical direction from the Club Treasurer, this individual is instrumental in assuring successful office operations for the organization.
     The Finance Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day financial activity of PATC, assuring that financial information is reported accurately and on a timely basis. This individual must bring advanced financial skills, accuracy, and integrity to the job. This individual will manage – or supervise staff in managing – vendor files, voucher processing, entering bills, and processing checks.
    The Finance Coordinator must demonstrate substantial experience in retail sales, record keeping, and maintenance of accounting files, and must have excellent interpersonal skills. This position works closely with staff, volunteer leadership, and consultants, and will supervise a part-time Accounting Assistant.

Donor Relations Manager
     The Donor Relations Manager sustains positive and mutually-rewarding relations between the PATC and our donors; partners with Council Officer to determine the best strategies for effective donor stewardship; maintains ongoing and active networking with internal and external constituencies; and advises Council on the facilitation of recognition events and coordinates activities for donors.
     You should expect to commit between 20 and 30 hours per month initially. You can work from your home; the Fundraising Committee Chair may schedule meetings via phone conference or at HQ.
