Description: Where: Maryland AT from Gathland State Park to Weverton. Distance: 6.9 miles

Join Dave Erdman and other Trail Patrol members for a crisp January stroll on South Mountain along the Maryland AT from Gathland State Park to Weverton. This section of the AT includes Gathland's War Correspondents' Memorial, the deluxe Ed Garvey shelter and the blue-blazed side hike to Weverton Cliffs with spectacular views of the Potomac River and Harpers Ferry. Expect to be on the trail for about 4 hours.

Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
