Lambert Cabin

Former home of the Lambert family, this modern cabin is located on the western side of SNP, near Luray, VA. The original structure was built prior to the Civil War, and the additions were made before 1900. Downstairs, you will find a fully functional kitchen and dining area, a bathroom (with a toilet and sink but no shower), game room, sitting room, and living room with a fireplace. Upstairs, three bedrooms offer sleeping space for 8. Access the cabin by a short stroll from the parking area. Morning Star Road should not be attempted with vehicles with low clearance, and four-wheel drive is recommended. See "Accessing Cabins" in Cabin FAQs for further information. Hikers can take Crusher’s Ridge Trail to the AT.

For more information on this and other PATC cabins, we recommend acquiring and reading a copy of our PATC Cabins Book.
